What makes a city, a “World-Class city”? To name a few factors: good schools, strong economy, vibrant cultural scene, excellent infrastructure, efficient public transportation, better low-income housing options, first-class senior and disabled services. How it treats citizens dealing with the most difficult challenges like being homeless or being held in our county jails. And of course, a world-class city must stay on top of all of its housing stock.

I can’t call San Francisco world-class partly because someone in City Hall has dropped the ball.

Note: I follow Mission Local election coverage because I find it to be comprehensive, especially for all district races in the November 5, 2024, general election.
